Bike

Here is our motorcycle. Isn't it pretty?! It's a Honda VTX, and it has Harley Davidson saddlebags. We call it a Honda Davidson or a Honda Hybrid :)

Roofing

We chose the hottest week of the year to replace our roof...two weeks of 90 degree and above temperatures. Wes worked on the roof all day long for about a week. Thankfully, we had lots of help from friends and family. I even got up there and worked up a sweat!

This part scared me because we had a crane lift up the shingles onto the roof. Basically, we had about 4,000 lbs. on top of the house. I had to look away!

We had to cover the house with huge tarps because it rained a couple days. You can partially see the new roof over the porch and part of the huge dumpster in the corner.

Youth Group

Wes and I are involved in the jr. high class at Gray Road Baptist Church. We had the group over for a cookout in July. Check out Zach in the green admiring his bulging biceps! :)



Everyone played football the whole time while Kelly and I manned the grill.

Florida

In May, we took a trip to St. Petersburg, Florida for our one year anniversary. While we were there, we drove to Orlando to visit Wes' relatives and my good friend, Valerie.

This is Wes' second cousin, Ben. He was a trip!

Getting to know us...

Wes is a motorcycle enthusiast, and I like to ride along for fun! At the time, Wes didn't have a bike; so we borrowed a friend's bike to take engagement pictures. Oh, and this isn't our house either :)



I just learned to water ski last year.

Wes is a pro at the slalom!

We love the outdoors and having fun! (We might be slightly too big for this swing set).

We love the beach! This is in Jamaica on our honeymoon...beautiful!
