Retirement

My dad retired in October after 30 years of public service to the state of Indiana. Our family had a party for him in January (we're always late doing things) at the Mayberry Cafe in Avon. As a gift, he receieved about $200...and who says money doesn't grow on trees?!

My Aunt Connie, presented gifts to my dad so that he won't get bored during his non-working days.

Kristin and Jessica...being their usual selves!

D.C.

In January, my work sent me to Washington D.C. for a conference. After the conference, I had a great time with my co-workers sight-seeing and enjoying the city. It was so cold, and we walked what seemed like the entire city in one day! If you can't tell, this is the Washington Memorial.

This was my first time in D.C. The White House looked smaller in person, but this is the side that is not usually shown on TV.

Abe was definitely larger than I thought.

Arlington Cemetery was awe-inspiring. It definitely struck a sense of gratitude and patriotism.

Snoopy

Wes and I adopted a spunky little beagle puppy we named, Snoopy. He is oh so precious!

Snoopy and our cat, Reggie, love to wrastle!

Cheer

This was Senior Night at B.A. and, sadly, Gisselle's last home game :(

The girls finally nailed their liberty. Nice job!

Steph and I still got it!
