IU cake

I did this cake for a girl at work. Her son turned 18, and he's going to IU in the fall. I got two more cake orders from her for the end of the month! Business is picking up :)

"Bond"fire

Friday night the cheerleaders, Steph and I had a girls night out. We went to Red Robin...yummmm...then back to my house for what we're calling our "bond"fire. I had a little trouble getting the fire started...I am a city girl through and through!

Caylea, on the other hand, had no problem getting it started. She surprised us all with her girl scout skills!

Speaking of skills, here's Lauryn showing off her mad gymnastic skills!

Wow! That's scary!

Ok, this was funny...Alyssa was afraid of my cute little Snoopy! You can see she was eye-balling him here! By the end of the night, she did warm up to him, probably because he followed her around everywhere!

April B-day Cake

I haven't posted any pictures lately because we couldn't find the batteries to the camera. Anyway, this is the cake I made for Wes' work this month. I love the pink flowers!

Christmas

One of my many New Year's resolutions is to post more pictures this year. But in the meantime, here are some pics of my Christmas decorations.

We don't have a fireplace with a mantle, so we had to improvise :)

Here is the December birthday cake I did for Wes' work.

Stuff

This is my latest creation. I made this for a lady at Wes' work. She wanted me to make a cake for Thanksgiving with her boyfriend's family. I thought this was cute.

Here are two of my boys all snuggled up together! Snoopy was sleeping too until he heard me come in and take the picture :)

Elizabeth's birthday

We had a surprise birthday party for my mother-in-law, Elizabeth, on Sunday. This is the cake I made for her. The yellow on the cake actually turned out to be the color of their house. She was surprised and happy to have her friends and family over to celebrate.

I totally forgot to take pictures that night; so here's another view of the cake...
